The Rescue Train is a nonprofit 501c3 and run solely by your generous donations. We desperately need your help. Nothing is harder for us than the thought of turning our backs on animals in need because there aren¹t enough funds to help. So please donate and help a forgotten animal become a cherished family member.

Wondering where your donations are being spent?

Your money goes directly to the care of the animals. It¹s hard to pin point exactly how much it costs to save a life it depends on the health of the animal and or behavioral issues that need to be addressed through training.

Often we take animals in need of medical attention. Though our vets are generous with their time and services, our vet bills can be staggering. Just to give you a few examples of some of the special need animals we have recently saved:

1) STANLEY ~ Blind dog taken from South Central in need of eye surgery ~ ADOPTED

2) PONY ~ Rescued from the Carson shelter with a broken pelvis ~ ADOPTED

3) SUNNY ~ Came in with severe sarcoptic mange, then diagnosed with diabetes insipidous~ NEEDS LOVING HOME

4) XENA ~ Rescued four days before giving birth on the street, ending a cycle of overpopulation by spaying and neutering her and her litter. ADOPTED
